Applications

Product Overview

The MOEORW-AEC Contact Ultrasonic Partial Discharge Calibration System is an engineering-grade, fully automated platform designed to verify, calibrate, and test the performance of contact-type acoustic partial discharge detectors.Utilizing the pulse-excitation comparison method, the system establishes a highly stable acoustic transmission link through a precision-machined heavy steel block to calibrate sensors across a wide frequency spectrum. The system has been field-proven in prominent Electric Power Research Institutes and is a vital baseline infrastructure for testing instruments deployed on GIS, switchgear, and power transformers. With full upper-computer software integration, it eliminates human error by delivering self-adaptive loop topologies, adaptive sweep sequences, and automatic test report generation.

Application

Power Grid Metrology & Testing Centers: Ideal for State Grid and China Southern Grid Electric Power Research Institutes (电科院) or regional testing labs to conduct centralized material evaluation and regular calibration of field-deployed instruments.

Third-Party Calibration Laboratories: Enables compliance labs (SGS, Eurofins, national testing institutes) to verify Acoustic Emission (AE) and partial discharge equipment against IEC and corporate metrics.

PD Instrumentation Manufacturers: Serves as a definitive R&D and QA/QC end-of-line test station for factories producing portable or online contact-type ultrasonic PD inspectors.

Heavy Industrial Electrical Substation Maintenance: Used by maintenance teams in generation and distribution facilities to verify the sensitivity of their testing assets before executing critical offline/online switchgear mapping.

Features

  • Fully Automated Closed-Loop Control

The system interfaces via GPIB/LXI buses to allow the software to drive signal generators, configure oscilloscopes, capture waveform datasets, and switch topologies seamlessly.

  • Comprehensive Multi-Parameter Verification

▷Capable of performing complete validation profiles under national and grid enterprise technical codes, including:

▷Sensor Absolute/Average Sensitivity Levels & Curve Plotting

▷Whole-Instrument Detection Frequency Bandwidth (Upper/Lower Cutoff)

▷Minimum Detection Sensitivity & Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR)

▷Dynamic Response Range & Whole-System Linearity Error Calibration

▷Multi-Channel Consistency (Amplitude and \(\le 20\mu\text{s}\) Time Deviations)

▷Long-Term Operational Stability & Repeatability Calculations

  • Traceable Accuracy & High Reliability

All embedded reference sensors are fully traceable to national metrology standards. The massive, highly polished \(0.6\mu\text{m}\) steel propagation ensures zero internal boundary interference and perfect sound field replication.

  • One-Click Standardized Report Generation

Built-in algorithm modules auto-calculate primary resonance peaks, standard deviations, and curve fitting. Reports are automatically generated using standardized State Grid corporate layouts, containing original time-domain wave plots and diagnostic verdicts.
