Product Overview
The MOEORW-268 is a complete test system for partial discharge testing using a variable-frequency series resonance method. It primarily consists of a partial discharge-free variable-frequency power supply, a partial discharge-free excitation transformer, and a multifunctional intelligent peak voltmeter. By adjusting the output frequency, the system induces resonance between the inductance of the circuit reactor and the capacitance of the test specimen to generate the test high voltage. It can be used to perform AC withstand voltage tests on capacitive test specimens such as power transformers (for partial discharge and induced withstand voltage), GIS, cables, current transformers, and bushings, as well as for withstand voltage testing of large generator sets and large grounding grids. The system is equipped with a standalone aluminum alloy control cabinet and uses fiber-optic communication to isolate high- and low-voltage circuits; it supports both manual and automatic tuning. The equipment can be used on-site, both indoors and outdoors, and must be operated by certified high-voltage testing personnel; the test circuit must strictly adhere to a single-point grounding configuration.
Application
Power Transformers
Induced voltage withstand tests (fully compliant with GB/T 1094.3 / IEC 60076-3).
High-precision partial discharge (PD) measurements (per GB7354 / IEC 60270).
Substation & Switchgear Equipment
AC withstand voltage testing for GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) and disconnectors.
Power-frequency withstand voltage testing for circuit breakers, insulators, and bushings.
Cables & Capacitive Loads
AC withstand voltage tests on high-voltage and extra-high-voltage (EHV XLPE) power cables.
Insulation testing for other large-capacity capacitive electrical equipment.
Generators & Large Grounding Grids
Power-frequency withstand voltage testing for large utility-scale generator units.
Serves as a high-power variable frequency power source for extensive grounding grid testing.
1. High-quality waveform: Directly outputs a standard sine wave with minimal waveform distortion, unlike square-wave-shaped variable-frequency power supplies; no additional peak calibration is required during testing.
2. Fiber-optic electrical isolation: The control unit communicates with the high-voltage power unit via fiber optics, providing electrical isolation between high and low voltages to prevent damage to the control equipment caused by breakdown flashovers from the test specimen.
3. Comprehensive Protection Features: Integrated protection against overvoltage, short circuits, breakdown, zero-voltage startup, power curve abnormalities, and bridge arm faults. The system rapidly cuts off the output in the event of a fault to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
4. Two Tuning Modes: Features manual fine-tuning and automatic frequency-sweep tuning functions. The touchscreen interface allows users to configure parameters such as voltage division ratio, test voltage, overvoltage protection, and timing.
5. Flexible Wiring with Broad Compatibility: The excitation transformer windings support various connection methods, including series and parallel, and can be configured with multiple transformation ratios to accommodate test specimens of different voltage levels.
6. High On-Site Practicality: The equipment is relatively lightweight and easy to transport, offering higher operational efficiency compared to generator-based solutions; it is equipped with an independent peak voltmeter capable of recording and exporting voltage data throughout the entire test process.
7. Partial Discharge-Free Design: The partial discharge (PD) level of the entire power unit is ≤10 pC, meeting the stringent requirements of partial discharge testing.
8. Intuitive Operation: The touchscreen display shows real-time status information such as voltage, current, frequency, phase, waveforms, temperature, and humidity, while a buzzer provides audible and visual alerts for operational status and fault alarms.
1.Variable-frequency power supply: Three-phase 380–400 V ±10% input, rated output power 260 kW, single-phase output 0–350 V, output current 0–742 A; frequency continuously adjustable from 20 to 300 Hz, frequency instability ≤0.05%, voltage instability ≤1.0%, waveform distortion rate ≤1%, partial discharge ≤10 pC; forced air cooling, total unit weight 1,300 kg.
2.Excitation Transformer (MELB1109Y-260kVA): Operating frequency 25–300 Hz, partial discharge level ≤10 pC; high- and low-voltage windings can be connected in series or parallel; capable of continuous operation for 180 minutes at rated capacity; oil-immersed, naturally cooled.
3.Peak Voltage Meter (METRF750): Frequency 20–500 Hz, voltage measurement error ≤0.5%, powered by a lithium battery, supports plotting voltage-time curves and storing and exporting test data.
4.Operating Environment: Altitude ≤1,000 m, ambient temperature –20°C to +45°C, relative humidity ≤90% RH, free of corrosive or explosive conductive dust; reliable grounding required.
