Applications

In pulse current mode, it needs to be used in conjunction with a high voltage signal generator; in multiple pulse mode, it also needs to be used in conjunction with a cable test multiple pulse coupler; after the distance measurement is completed, a digital multi-function cable fault locator must be used for accurate locating. Together, they form a high-performance cable fault locating system that can provide a variety of innovative features.

Features

1. Multiple distance measurement methods:

Low voltage pulse method: Suitable for accurate distance measurement of low resistance, short circuit and disconnection faults. It can also be used for the measurement of the full length of the cable and the intermediate joints, T-joints and terminal heads, as well as the correction of wave velocity.

Pulse current method: Suitable for distance measurement of high resistance and flashover faults. It uses a current coupler to collect signals from the test ground wire, which is completely isolated from the high voltage part, safe and reliable.

Multiple pulse method: The most advanced distance measurement method in the world, which is an improvement of the secondary pulse method. The waveform is clear and easy to identify, and the distance measurement accuracy is high.

2.200MHz real-time sampling:

The highest sampling frequency of similar instruments in China, in line with the highest international level.

Provides a distance measurement resolution of up to 0.4m, with a small measurement blind area, which is particularly effective for near-end faults and short cables.

3. Automatic calibration function:

Automatically analyzes the characteristic waveform of the fault waveform and gives the possible fault location.

Supports automatic calibration function of low-voltage pulse and pulse current mode.

4. Two operation modes: touch operation and mechanical button

Touch button, more flexible operation, with gesture operation function.

You can drag the cursor and double-click to make positioning simpler and more convenient.

Compatible with mechanical button operation and five-way button, the operation is more user-friendly.

5.LED large-screen color LCD display, friendly interface:

The waveform is clear, especially in multiple pulse tests, multiple waveforms are displayed in different colors at the same time, which is easier to identify.

7-inch large-screen LCD, 160° viewing angle, brightness reaches 750cd/m2, meeting the requirements of sunlight visibility.

The function menu is simple and practical, and the function is powerful.

6. Picture-in-picture temporary storage display function

The interface display adopts picture-in-picture mode, which consists of a main window and three temporary storage windows. Three temporary storage waveforms can be viewed at the same time, making the waveform comparison function simpler, more intuitive and convenient.

7. Waveform storage, computer online communication  A large number of waveforms can be stored in the machine.

Use USB flash drive to export waveform data.

Can be connected to a computer (desktop or notebook) for online communication.

Provide computer background management software to manage the data dumped from USB flash drive or online data.

8. Power management:

When there is no operation within 2 minutes, the backlight will be reduced; if there is no operation for 10 minutes, it will automatically shut down to reduce power consumption; when the battery is undervoltage, the instrument will also automatically shut down to protect the battery.

Built-in polymer lithium-ion battery, equipped with a dedicated lithium battery charger, provides a reliable charging method.

Long working time: With a fully charged polymer lithium-ion battery, the instrument can work continuously for more than 7 hours (the use time will be shortened after the battery ages).
